Who runs this site
Ace to King Solitaire is run by its owner, a private person. To reach us about anything on this page, write to hello@acetoking.com.
The short version
Ace to King Solitaire is a free solitaire game at acetoking.com. You play it without an account. The site has no forms and no newsletter, and it does not ask for your name, your email address or anything else about you.
What stays on your device
So that you can come back to your game, the site keeps a few things in the storage of your browser, on your own device:
- The game you are playing, one for Turn 1 and one for Turn 3: the cards on the table, your moves and the time, so that the game is there when you come back.
- Your best results: the fastest time and the fewest moves of your wins, for each way to draw.
- The table theme you chose.
- Your answer "Not now" to the offer to add the game to your home screen, so that it is not offered again.
None of it leaves your device: the site does not send it anywhere, and we cannot see it.
To erase all of it, clear the site data of acetoking.com in the settings of your browser (usually under "Privacy" or "Site settings"). This removes the saved games and the best results for good: they exist nowhere else.
The copy for playing offline
Your browser also keeps a copy of the files of the site (the pages, the styles, the scripts and the pictures of the cards), so that the game opens faster and can open without a connection. The copy holds nothing about you, and it is removed together with the site data.
What the hosting sees
The site is served by Cloudflare, a hosting company. Like any web server, it receives what a browser sends with every request, such as the IP address, the type of the browser and of the device, the page asked for and the time, and it uses this to deliver the site and to keep it secure. We do not use this data to find out who you are. Cloudflare does this for us, and we rely on our legitimate interest in delivering the site and keeping it secure (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). Cloudflare is a company in the United States, so this data may also be processed there. Cloudflare describes what it does with it in its privacy policy.
Analytics and advertising
Ace to King Solitaire has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies today, and it loads nothing from other companies. If one of these is switched on, this page names it.
If you write to us
The only way we learn your email address is a letter from you. If you write to hello@acetoking.com, we receive your address and what you wrote, and we use them to answer you and to fix what you reported. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in answering people who write to us and in fixing the site (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). We delete your letter when the matter is closed, and at the latest 12 months after our last reply. You are never required to write to us to play.
Your rights
If the data protection law of the European Union or of the United Kingdom applies to you, you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict its use, object to its use, and ask for it in a form you can take elsewhere. Write to hello@acetoking.com; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live. In practice, the only data we hold about you is a letter you sent us. What the game keeps is on your device, and you erase it yourself, as described above.
"Do Not Track"
The site does not follow you from one site to another, and no other company collects information about you through it, so a "Do Not Track" signal from your browser changes nothing.
Children
The site is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this page
When what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and so does the date at its top. We announce a change only here: by changing this page and the date at its top. The cookies and the storage are described in more detail in the Cookie Policy.
